A Family Affair: Lanvin Spring 2015
Leave it to the French House of Lanvin to take familial bonds one step further. The label, which celebrated it’s 125th anniversary last year, has always followed the tradition of shooting families and this year enlisted the help of Iconic models and their daughters as well as brothers and a DJ partnership to build its Spring 2015 campaign.
“I like that the campaign doesn’t only have images, it has a story. Every time we do a family shoot, if feels like we’re going to their place: We feel like visitors,” Creative Director Alber Elbaz told WWD.
Sidenote: The brand’s Founder, Jeanne Lanvin started the label to create clothing for her daughter. The brand’s logo even features a mother and daughter holding hands.
Mother and Daughter Duo: Kristen and Billie Rose Owen
Mother and Daughter Duo: Anna and Pat Cleveland
Brother Duo: Callum and Haydn Rockall
DJ Duo: Josh Quinton and Andy Bradin
The campaign was shot by Tim Walker, with creative direction by Ronnie Cooke Newhouse and Stephen Wolstenholme of House + Holme. Styling goes to Jacob K, with hair by Julien d’Ys and makeup by Val Garland.
