Do you have any tips on how to travel eco-consciously?

Walking or biking instead of car or bus tours is a memorable and adventurous way to sightsee while being eco-friendly to the environment you’re visiting! Travelling with a reusable water bottle and utensils is a great way to avoid all of the plastic in airports.

How has travel inspired you to work alongside 4ocean?

The oceans make up the majority of our earth. Personally, it is a place I find to be powerful, full of
healing energy, cleansing, calming, and beautiful creatures. Simply from gazing out at sea, I
feel a sense of ease and relief immediately. However, as breathtaking as our oceans may be, there have
been tons of trash poured into them. When I learned how the people behind 4ocean were making it
their mission to undo the constant pollution that has been going on for years, and taking action to
clean up the oceans while saving the ocean life being affected by it, I had to get involved. Stopping to
pick up trash on the sand or that has floated into the water, or throwing out or recycling your things
while cleaning up from your time at the beach, are the first baby steps to creating a cleaner beach
and oceans!

Favourite vacation spot?

This is hard to choose! I love St Thomas as I have family there and explore the island the local way! I
stay with my aunt whenever I visit and love exploring all of the islands’ hidden spots from beaches,
to restaurants and shops. Lately I have visited Hawaii a couple of times and love the nature trails
through the mountains, the waterfalls, botanical gardens, shaved ice, food trucks, beaches, and the
lookout points. I guess I love to vacation to islands that allow you to feel free out in the middle of the
sea and allow you to ground and connect with nature all around!

Where do you stay?

Whenever I travel, my stays vary. I travel just about every week for work and fit in a vacation
getaway when I can at least once a year! I have stayed everywhere from rental homes, to five star
hotels, to beach shacks, all inclusive resorts, small local hotels, high altitude mountain homes, just to
name a few!

Favourite restaurant?

I love Café Habana in Malibu. As soon as we wrapped shooting this cover story, I celebrated with
dinner there. My friends know that if they are with me for a day in Malibu, that is the go-to spot!

Best Spa?

AIRE Ancient Baths in New York is truly an experience. When you step into the spa, you forget you’re in a big city. I recommend spending an hour experiencing all of the baths from the cold plunges to
the heated salt baths followed by a massage.

Best place for a cocktail?

A pina colada on the beach at SLS Baha Mar.

Where do you shop and what do you bring home?

My mom always told me to shop at places I can’t shop at when I am home! I love this tip because it
allows you to explore and shop locally and find tangible memories to take with you or gift to someone you love. I love finding and buying locally made jewelry and shopping at local boutiques. Finding timeless pieces of clothing is my favourite.

Airport Style?

Comfy Chic is my go-to. Whenever I travel I like to be comfortable, but put together. A lot of the time
when I deplane I am grabbing my luggage, get in a car and head straight to set. An example of a
typical travel outfit for me would be a pair of EB denim loose cargo pants paired with a white tee,
faux leather jacket, white sneakers, and a ball cap. I always keep a sweatshirt rolled up in my carry-
on to use as a little headrest or to wear to keep me cozy and warm if the plane is cold!

Packing Strategy?

I fold and roll all of my clothes to pack as many things as I can nice and tight!

Go-to Luggage?

Samsonite hard shell luggage has never let me down! I have been using their luggage for years and
they have been around the world and back with me all in one piece!

Beauty kit essentials?

A creamy blush that can be used on the cheeks and lips! My favourite is by Charlotte Tilbury in the
colour pillow talk. For skin care, rosehip oil is my go-to face oil that I apply every morning and night. Then, I sculpt my face with a jade Gua Sha. Finally, I use something in my hair called a sleepy tie.
This is my hack to wake up with perfect hair.

What do you read?

I spend a lot of my time journaling. I carry a journal with me everywhere I go. I am always writing
out my thoughts, my manifestations, what I did in the day and how I felt. I love dating each page and
going back on my journal entries to see how I have grown out of certain feelings, how I might have
overcome certain hard situations I was struggling with at the time, and which goals came to fruition.

In-Flight rituals?

Drinking water, listen to rain sounds in my headphones, and journal (when I’m not sleeping), If I have
a long flight, I stay up the night before to sleep the flight away and wake up refreshed to wherever I
am headed!

Top Hotel?

Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort in St Lucia is a very memorable, scenic, breathtaking place between
two mountains and surrounded by the ocean!

Mini Bar must?

Ginger beer! I love checking into the room to find a light, refreshing, non-alcoholic beverage.
