The rumors were true.  Kendall Jenner is indeed following in the footsteps of pal Justin Beiber and joining the legacy that is Calvin Klein.  The social media darling now joins the likes of top models such as Brooke Shields, Kate Moss and Lara Stone.  While Jenner’s campaign is slightly less risque than Beiber’s, showing just a midriff here and there, she is joined by Simon Nessman for an urban-meets-athletic vibe.

Styled by Melanie Ward, the duo pose in a logo-covered unisex collection of sweats, tees and tanks designed by Calvin Klein Jean Global Creative Director, Kevin Carrigan.  The collection will be debuting exclusively at Opening Ceremony on April 15.

Kendall was chosen as spokesmodel for the brand in part due to her incredible online presence.  With a collection that starts with a hashtag (#mycalvins), it only makes sense that they would want someone so in-tune with social media. “Kendall’s powerful fan base and global reach will further amplify the current cultural conversation surrounding the Calvin Klein Jeans brand and highlight this exciting limited edition,” said Calvin Klein Inc’s Chief Marketing Officer, Melisa Goldie.

When it comes to the Calvin Klein legacy, do you think Jenner fits the bill?
