Zeta Morrison’s Holiday Rules

Zeta Morrison is a British actress, model, and businesswoman. She walked onto the Love Island set with a psychology degree – obviously, she was going to win season 4. Currently signed with Peak Models, Zeta has been tapped to partner with lingerie brand Lounge Underwear, walked runway shows in New York Fashion week for designer Michael Costello and shot multiple make-up campaigns for makeup mogul brand Anastasia Beverly Hills.

In early 2019, Zeta starred as the lead in a horror short film titled “We Follow You” which premiered at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood and won at many film festivals. By the end of 2019, Zeta booked her first feature film with a supporting role to Macy Gray, Lance Gross & rapper Gunna. In 2022 Zeta played the role of Sebu Armstrong in the notable television series titled “Crime & Justice”. The young star is currently working on her autobiography, proving to women that they can really do it all!

You recently played the role of Sebu Armstrong in the notable television “Crime & Justice”. Tell us about your experience shooting in Nairobi, Kenya.

It was just a dream! I was truly the happiest getting to do what I love doing the most in a country as special as Kenya! The weather was actual perfection each day. The hospitality was 10/10. The people were warm. It was an out-of-body experience.

The entertainment industry is said to be full of stress and pressure; what do you do to tackle the pressure that comes with your work?

I think you’ve just got to remember why you started and why you love what you do. If you don’t love it you won’t make it in this industry. Every single job in this world comes with some sort of stress/pressure. I love what I do so a lot of prayer and remaining grounded with what matters the most (i.e., maintaining internal peace & communicating with my family) as frequently as possible helps me tackle the pressure.

Your blog, Zeta Confidential, discusses a plethora of topics. What inspired you to launch a blog and how do you choose topics to encourage your readers?

I’ve always been a writer. It’s a way for me to self-soothe and release the contents of what lies deep in me. So when the pandemic hit in 2020 I thought “Why not release your thoughts to the public?” As the feedback was positive, I realized how many of us are looking to simply relate to one another and know we’re not alone in what we’re feeling. So that encourages me to be vulnerable about my experiences. In return, it encourages readers.

As a busy model, actress and entrepreneur, how do you manage your personal and professional life?

To be fair I’m still trying to find that perfect balance but I must say that I’m really blessed to have a family and boyfriend who understands the importance of completing our individual God-ordained purposes in life. This makes my professional life able to merge with my personal life a bit smoother.

Tell us about your upcoming autobiography! Why is now the perfect time to work on it?

Now is the perfect time to work on this because if not now, then when? But really, now is the perfect time because I’ve been through experiences that have truly shaped me and made me the woman I am today. Some beautiful and some unfathomably traumatic. Through my blog ZC I’ve come to realize that we weren’t meant to experience these things in life to keep them to ourselves but rather to share them in order to liberate and inspire others. I have been liberated myself by the stories others have chosen to share and since others seem to gravitate to me and be interested in what makes me me, now more than ever. I feel this is a perfect time.

Cozy trackies with long fuzzy socks hands down. There’s no other way.

Packing essentials?

Smell good essentials like lotions and perfumes. And of course hair tools and oils, a razor, deodorant, and a toothbrush and toothpaste You never know what inconvenience may present itself and you need to be prepared.

Your packing advice?

Try your best not to pack everything. Set your clothes out as full outfits so you can minimize packing unnecessary clothing and bits, as opposed to packing everything than trying to figure out your fit upon arrival. I say all this and take none of my own advice! But when I do take my own advice I’m always highly pleased with myself and the outcome.

Skincare tips when travelling?

Hydrate, hydrate. Hydrate. Drink water. Use face creams. Bring lotion. And never be without lip balm.

What is your airport style?

Hoodie or puffer jacket with leggings, sweatpants and socks.

I don’t! A vacation is a vacation for a reason. I celebrate and live my life. But usually, there’s still a lot of movement on vacation and that’s what helps.

Where is next on your travel bucket list?

I’ve never visited Dubai. I’d love to. Bali as well!
