Alison Victoria: Building Dreams, One Design at a Time
Dynamic, visionary, and endlessly creative, Alison Victoria continues to raise the bar in design and reality television. Best known as the creator, executive producer, and host of HGTV’s Windy City Rehab, Alison has recently celebrated dual nominations—one at the Daytime Emmys and another from the Critics Choice Real TV Awards. Her talent shines across screens, from co-hosting Ugliest House in America alongside comedian Retta to captivating audiences on Battle on the Beach. This August, fans will welcome a new season of Windy City Rehab, but the biggest news is Alison’s latest venture: a thrilling Las Vegas spinoff, Sin City Rehab.
Premiering in late 2025, this eight-episode series will see Alison tackling multi-million-dollar client projects and high-stakes flips in the glitzy heart of Las Vegas. HGTV promises viewers an unforgettable real estate rollercoaster, where Alison builds a team and her reputation in a daring new market. “Lucky for us, what happens in Vegas won’t stay there,” says HGTV’s Betsy Ayala.
Off-screen, Alison’s influence is equally remarkable. From launching her production company, Briefly Gorgeous Productions, to creating signature collections with Cabinets to Go and The Tile Shop, she’s leaving her mark on every corner of the design world. Beyond design, her philanthropic work with Habitat for Humanity and the Chicago Refugee Coalition underscores her commitment to giving back, as she transforms spaces and lives alike.
Whether redefining the design landscape or embarking on her boldest adventure yet, Alison Victoria proves that creativity and determination have no limits.

You’ve seamlessly combined design and television, two worlds that rarely intersect. What first sparked your desire to pursue both?
I’ve always been passionate about design, and television offered me a platform to reach a wider audience. The opportunity to merge creativity with entertainment was a natural fit for me, and it allowed me to bring design to life in a way that resonated with people beyond just my clients.
Your design aesthetic is a masterful blend of vintage charm, glamorous details, and sleek modernity. How do you approach creating such harmony in your projects?
For me, it’s all about balance. I draw inspiration from the past, but I incorporate modern elements to keep spaces fresh and functional. My goal is to create spaces that feel timeless yet have a contemporary edge, mixing glamour and comfort without losing sight of the practical.
You’ve worked on incredible high-profile projects, including designing Christmas décor for the White House. What project has stood out to you the most over the years?
Designing the White House Christmas décor was a career highlight. However, every project I take on holds a special place for me. The ones that stand out the most are those where I truly transform a space, not just aesthetically but emotionally, making a lasting impact on the people who experience it.
On Windy City Rehab, you’re both a developer and designer. How do you balance these roles while maintaining your signature style in each renovation?
It’s all about being strategic and staying organized. I’m deeply involved in every aspect of the renovation, from design to development, ensuring my vision remains intact. Balancing both roles requires being hands-on and managing my time well, but my passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces keeps me inspired.
Breaking into TV as the first female host of Kitchen Crashers was a game-changer. How did you navigate being a trailblazer in a traditionally male-dominated industry?
It was all about confidence and knowing my worth. I wasn’t afraid to stand my ground, and I used my unique perspective as a female designer to my advantage. I wanted to show that women can not only break into the industry but redefine it. That’s been my mission from the start.
You’ve just launched Briefly Gorgeous Productions intending to bring authenticity and vulnerability back to reality TV. What inspired you to shift the narrative in unscripted television?
I’ve always believed that the best stories are the real ones. The reality TV space has often leaned into sensationalism, and I wanted to change that. With Briefly Gorgeous Productions, I’m passionate about creating content that feels real and raw, something that people can truly connect with on an emotional level.
With Briefly Gorgeous Productions, what type of stories do you hope to bring to life that are missing from today’s reality TV landscape?
I’m interested in bringing more depth and authenticity to reality TV. Stories about real struggles, triumphs, and the complexity of human emotions. I want to create programming that speaks to a more diverse audience, where people can see themselves reflected and feel heard.
Interior design is always evolving. What trends are you currently obsessed with, and what do you predict will shape the next decade in design?
I’m obsessed with mixing natural materials like wood and stone with bold, vibrant colours. I think we’re going to see a return to more grounded, organic designs in the next decade, focusing on sustainability and incorporating elements that bring us closer to nature. It’s all about creating spaces that nourish the soul.
You’re known for juggling multiple roles—from TV host and producer to designer and entrepreneur. What’s your secret to staying creatively fulfilled while managing so many different hats?
The key is passion and purpose. I choose projects that excite me and align with my vision, which helps me stay focused and energized. Having a strong support team and a clear sense of my goals keeps me grounded. It’s all about balance, and I thrive on keeping things dynamic.
As Windy City Rehab enters its fifth season, how do you keep the series fresh, and what can we expect from this new chapter?
We push the envelope each season with new design concepts, unique challenges, and fresh projects. This new season will showcase even more daring transformations and deeper insights into what goes into making a home truly spectacular. We’re also focusing more on the emotional side of the process, from the relationships we build with homeowners to the personal growth that comes with each project.
