Brooklynne Webb’s Holiday Rules

Victoria, British Columbia native Brooklynne Webb has always enjoyed being creative and entertaining an audience. A performer since childhood, she grew up figure skating, dancing, acting in musical theater, and singing in the choir. It wasn’t until she reached high school that she found her true passion for creating content on social media, and it was a discovery that would change her life forever.

Webb happened upon social media success by chance. Like most teens, she originally created her TikTok account to share content with friends and pass the time between classes. Though she was active on the platform, she didn’t see content creation as a career option until the pandemic hit in early 2020 and her
following started rising into the millions. Webb strives to create unique and engaging videos that convey a strong message. She aims to emphasize the importance of living your life unapologetically with good intentions, while reinforcing the belief that you should always chase your dreams. Webb is also an
aspiring model and staunch advocate for body positivity. She teamed up with BeBe Rexha for a viral TikTok on the topic, and has collaborated with well-known brands including Steve Madden, L’Oreal, and Benefit to name a few. Her advocacy has garnered coverage with many well-known media outlets including Good Morning America, Nightline, Buzzfeed, and more.

Webb has also unintentionally made a name for herself in the world of music. In an elaborate “social experiment,” she dove head first onto the scene with the release of her hit single “My Crown” and its accompanying music video. The song, which has amassed millions of streams to date, is a satirical take on the constant online hate most individuals face and how she chooses not to perpetuate that negativity.
By creating a song that went viral because of the hate, Webb sought to prove that the people who try to take her down only further her success.

Outside of online content creation, she launched her own merch line “Unapologetically Me”, which she holds very close to her heart. The line represents the sentiment she hopes to express in her content and in her music, to always be your authentic self. In her spare time, Webb enjoys listening and dancing to music as well as spending time with friends at Six Flags. She currently resides in Los Angeles.

Where are you jetting off to next?

This summer I’ve been on my first big trip, visiting nine different countries in Europe! My next stops are Amsterdam and London.

 

How will you spend your days?

I plan to spend my days exploring the cities! Europe has so much history and I really want to see it with my own eyes. I also plan on vlogging and documenting my whole trip on social media to share my experience.

 

What’s in your carry-on luggage?

My carry on always has my makeup, shoes, and clothes. Basically anything essential I might need in case my main luggage gets lost.

 

Beauty essentials?

My biggest beauty essentials are definitely the Ole Henriksen Truth Juice Daily Cleanser and Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Sunscreen. They keep my skin clear and protected against UV rays without being too harsh!

What do you like to read?

I love to read fashion magazines like Vogue, Allure, and Vanity Fair! So much talent and creativity goes into every issue so it makes it fun to pass time with.

 

Best travel tip?

Pack and make sure you have everything for a big trip early. I love to procrastinate and pack the night before, but every time I do that I always forget something. Making a checklist and packing, then double checking, is the best thing you can do!

 

Favourite travel memory?

My favorite travel memory is going to Zermatt, Switzerland! We went on a beautiful five lake hike, and even though it was raining the entire time, I couldn’t have been happier. The next day we went paragliding and it has to be the craziest thing I’ve ever done.

 

Favourite hotel?

One of my favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed in to this day is the Hard Rock Hotel And Resort in Cancun Mexico. There was so much to do, and since it’s truly all-inclusive there was absolutely no stress!

 

Your vacation style?

I like every vacation to be different! Sometimes just relaxing by the pool is fantastic, but other times I love to explore and meet a lot of new people. I want each vacation I take to be a unique experience.

 

3 packing essentials?

My top three packing essentials are wired headphones, my laptop. and my Hugo bralette. No matter where I go I always need them.

 

Your packing advice?

Pack your suitcase while it’s standing up rather than laying down! I’ve found that I usually get a lot more space by doing it like this.

The one beauty product you can’t live without?

Definitely Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24H Long Wear Foundation! It wears on my skin so beautifully, has SPF 15, and never causes me to break out.

 

What beauty trend will you be rocking this season?

I’ll definitely be rocking the natural look this season, with light glowy makeup, a simple eye and lipstick!

 

How would you define your style?

My style is definitely always different, but it is defined by platform shoes, cutesy dresses and skirts!

This season’s 3 wardrobe musts?

My top three wardrobe musts are platform Doc Martens, white button downs, and bustier crop tops!

 

What swimwear trend is a must this season?

The biggest swimwear trend is definitely coverups. Mesh, crochet, or even matching pants is a must! I’ve been obsessed with my Aerie swimsuit because of how cute it is, but it is also very supportive for being active in the water.
