Meghan King’s Holiday Rules

Best recognized as an RHOC alum, from seasons 10, 11 and 12, Meghan King has transformed her large platform and gained recognition as the go-to fashion & lifestyle blog to follow, where she shares everything from motherhood, tips & tricks, personal travels and more. Her growing fan base has come from her unapologetic ways of exploring untouchable subjects in a way that makes readers feel liberated reading them.

Although a large platform has been an incredible experience, Meghan has been most grateful for the experience to highlight important causes with fans and spark awareness. Her recent trip to Africa is a primary example, which inspired her to partner with LULUSIMONSTUDIO – a female-founded lounge brand –  who helped design her own line with 100% of the proceeds being donated directly to The By Grace Foundation, which helps to educate, employ, empower, and elevate South African women. In her free time Meghan can be found spending time with her three incredible kids, Aspen, Hayes and Hart.  You can also find her sharing her favourite deals and sales on her Instagram stories, on a plane travelling between the coasts, enjoying a glass of wine with friends, or googling any random subject.

Your favourite vacation destination? 

Anywhere in Mexico! I love diving, the beach, the food, and the culture. It’s easy to get to and cheap once you’re there.

Most-loved hotel? 

The Four Seasons. It’s such a treat and always luxurious. If not the Four Seasons, then you can find me in a quaint Airbnb.

Your vacation style?

Adventure! Give me all the hiking, diving, exploring, and local immersive experiences.

Your beach read?

I love some historical fiction novels.

3 packing essentials? 

Eye mask, vax card, and activated charcoal.

Your packing advice?

I pack every outfit per occasion, I never throw anything in “willy-nilly,” this way I save a ton of space.

The one beauty product you can’t live without? 

Undereye patches to help hydrate dark circles.

What beauty trend will you be rocking this season? 

Gold eyes – I use Laura Mercier’s caviar sticks all the way around my eyes to brighten them.

How would you define your style?

Relaxed and casual with an edge of unexpected individuality.

This season’s 3 wardrobe musts? 

Wide-leg high water jeans, oversized jackets, and matching nude sweatpants sets.

What’s swimwear trend is a must this season? 

Whatever you feel comfortable in. Swimwear is intimidating enough; we don’t need to worry about trending it up. Go towards ribbed styles for a more forgiving fit.
