Taylor Sharpe’s Holiday Rules

Taylor Sharpe is an emerging model best known for being featured as a Sports Illustrated Swim Search Finalist in 2021. Taylor shot her Sports Illustrated photos with the infamous photographer, Yu Tsai, in Atlantic City, N.J. and had the honour of walking in The Sports Illustrated Runway Show at Miami Swim Week in 2021. Now, she is currently designing a luxury street-wear clothing line that will be released later this year. This year, she has also started pursuing her love of acting and has some exciting projects in the works, that will be announced in late 2022.

While the twenty-three-year-old is a go-getter with a lot on her plate, she manages to gracefully juggle it all and continue being a loving mother to her three-year-old son, River James. At just 19 years old, Taylor found out she was pregnant after only being in the modelling industry for a little under 2 years. Taylor used her strength and resiliency to overcome the difficulties she was faced with, which ultimately lead her to where she is now. She continued to believe in herself and never let being a mother stop her from chasing her dreams. Today, she is an advocate for Women Empowerment and hopes to encourage mothers of all ages to continue on their path to success. She hopes to inspire others with her openness and positive perspective on life. Taylor’s mission in life is to help people fall in love with their story no matter what it may be.

WHERE ARE YOU JETTING OFF TO NEXT?

I’m planning a trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy! I’ve never been to Italy, so I am extra excited for this trip.

HOW WILL YOU SPEND YOUR DAYS?

Drinking limoncello under the sunshine, exploring new places, and enjoying my time in a new beautiful place.

WHAT’S IN YOUR CARRY-ON LUGGAGE?

What’s not in my carry-on luggage is probably a better question! I always have a fear that my checked bag will get lost so I try to pack as much as I can in my carry-on.

BEAUTY ESSENTIALS?

Always an SPF. My Laneige lip balm is also an absolute must whenever I leave the house. I like to keep my Anastasia brow pencil with me as well.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO READ?

I love reading self-help, self-love, and motivational books. I am always in a better mood when reading a good book. One of my favourites is the Power of Now by Eckart Tolle.

BEST TRAVEL TIP?

Patience is my best travel tip. Don’t sweat about things you can’t control because life is too short!

FAVOURITE TRAVEL MEMORY?

My most recent trip was to Cabo, Mexico. We got a yacht that we were on all day. We watched the sunset and I loved spending the day out there. It was so beautiful. My favourite travel memories definitely involve a sunset!

FAVOURITE HOTEL?

Probably the hotel in my own city! I absolutely love 1 Hotel Miami Beach. There are so many others though so it’s hard to pick.

YOUR VACATION STYLE?

Relaxed but sexy! I love variety and am always mixing it up on vacation. My favourites would have to be maxi skirt and crop top sets.

-A great SPF for my face

-Lots of cute coverups

-Dry shampoo

Plan out your looks in advance and always pack extra! I’ve learned this one the hard way.

I cannot live without my SPF!!!

The no-makeup makeup look is my absolute favourite!

HOW WOULD YOU DEFINE YOUR STYLE?

I would say my style is all over the place. I am still trying to figure it out but I love trying new things. More recently I’ve been really into boyfriend jeans and crop tops. I like to keep it relaxed but still sexy.
