Bryana Holly’s Holiday Rules

To see Bryana in action and ask her all things fashion and travel of course, we jetted to beautiful Four Seasons, Westlake Village and spent time behind the scenes.

Your most loved vacation destination?

Anywhere tropical. Some sunshine, warm weather, and an ocean. Belize and Bali have been two of my favourite spots.

Favourite hotel?

I typically choose to Airbnb when I travel, but Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of O’ahu is a fun spot.

Top spa?

Bota Bota – Spa-sur-l’eau. A must visit if you are ever in Montreal! 

Your vacation style?

All depends exactly where the vacation is. Chic and casual, comfortable but stylish.  

Your beach read?

A Scientific American or Psychology Today magazine. 

3 Packing essentials?

Sunscreen. Chapstick. Hand sanitizer. 

Your packing advice? 

I pack light. Only the minimal. Packing the things you know you need and will use make traveling a lot easier. I try to plan outfits ahead of time so I don’t spend time thinking what to wear on my trip. 

The one beauty product you can’t live without?

Coconut oil. I use it on my hair and skin, it works wonders!

What fashion trend will you be rocking this season?

Patterned pants! I’m a big fan of. Bold, colourful prints make for a fun statement.  

What is your airport style?

Casual and comfy, always. I like to sleep on the plane, so I avoid tight jeans or anything I wouldn’t want to snooze in. 

Do you have any beauty tips for flying?

Never wear make-up when you’re flying! Apply a moisturizer and drink tons of water. Keep your skin feeling hydrated to avoid a dry face from the flight.

How would you define you style?

Girl next door, classic, easy. A floral midi dress or some washed denim jeans paired with a white tee and some sneakers are my go-to looks.

This season’s 3 wardrobe musts?

A statement blazer that’s easy to dress up or down, a great pair of shades, and little black dress never goes out of style!

What’s swimwear trend is a must this season?

I love bikinis that can be worn more places than just the pool or beach.  Frankie’s Bikinis has some amazing tops and one pieces that double as daytime looks when worn with some shorts or jeans.
