Olivia Ponton’s Holiday Rules

You’ll be hearing Olivia Ponton’s name a lot more in 2022, if you haven’t already. The Naples, Florida native is a social media sensation, gathering over 11 million followers across multiple platforms (with 3.5  million Instagram followers, 7.8 million TikTok followers, and 144,000 subscribers on YouTube). Ponton has also racked up 780 million views (with 777.8 on TikTok and 3.8 million on Instagram) since first amassing notoriety in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. “I never really processed it at the time,” Ponton explains. “I wasn’t going out and interacting with other people so I saw these crazy numbers. but it wasn’t really processing. When I moved to LA it started processing a little more.”

The 19-year-old came to prominence through showcasing the beautiful Florida beaches many of us wished we could visit at the beginning of the pandemic, as well as outdoor workouts that showcased her bubbly, fun and honest personality. “Working out has just been a huge part of my life, and filming motivated me because of I wanted to film, I had to do the workout for it,” Ponton states.

Olivia uses her social media platforms to promote happiness and positivity while staying true to herself. She explains that it’s really easy to get caught up in some of the things that come with fame but doing what makes you happy grounds you. Ponton said, “I’m very much a people-pleaser to the point where I had to start saying ‘no’ to other people and ‘yes’ to myself.”

Favourite vacation spot?

Hawaii is my safe space! I love spending my time on the beach and surfing.

Where do you stay?

At one of my best friends, Ivy’s house. She lives in a beautiful home on the east side in New York City.

Favourite restaurant?

In Los Angeles, I love Dialog Café. In New York, my favourite is Pecora Bianca.

Best spa?

Great Jones Spa in New York.

Where do you shop and what do you bring home?

I shop in Soho the majority of the time. I normally bring home candles, jackets, and anything pink!

Airport style?

Very chill! I always wear sweat pants, a crop top, ans a hoodie.

Packing strategy?

I throw everything into one possible bag! Sometimes my OCD kicks in and I organize every single part.

Go-to luggage?

I always use two massive pieces of luggage!
