Rachell Vallori’s Holiday Rules
Born and raised in Havana Cuba Rachell Vallori arrived in America 10 years ago, and signed with international modelling agencies Next Models and Wilhemina Models which allowed her to work with different brands nationally and internationally while focusing on her acting career, this year she starred on the independent film “plantadas “ that exposes the human rights violations that Cuban women have gone through since 1959. Now she’s taking us to the Exumas in the Bahamas, a short 45-minute flight from Miami where the water is crystal clear, all shades of blue, deserted cays and exclusive islands.
Hometown:
Havana, Cuba
Favourite travel destination:
The Exumas and Bali.
Go-to spa treatment?
Lymphatic drainage massage with body sculpting or hydro facial.
What’s your go-to travel outfit?
Pants and a matching set of athleisure wear are always comfortable!
What’s your signature travel scent?
I love citric scents, so anything citric and fruity.
How do you adapt your style to different destinations and cultures?
I love that. I’ve learned so much about different cultures especially when you travel to places like Bali, they are the most grateful people I’ve ever met, I remember when I travelled there they had their Galungan ceremony and I went and bought an outfit from locals and my friend and I drove for two hours to visit our local friends family and eat with them, it felt so amazing and unexpected to do that, I remembered it as one of my favourite days. For me is very important to dive into the culture.
What are some essential travel accessories that always find a place in your luggage?
Headphones, sunglasses, lots of moisturizers for face and hands, lip balm, hand sanitiser, and a sleeping face mask.
Top three packing tips for those aiming to travel with impeccable style?
When I travel I like to pack lightly but enough, I always pick a few neutral colour pieces that I can combine constantly like a few tank tops and a couple of wide legs pants, easy to pack and wear, and of course, summer dresses and evening attire, though everything depends on location and the occasion, you must always be prepared.
Which destination’s fashion scene has left a lasting impression on you?
I love Paris for that, first of all everything there is art and Parisians are always so chic when it comes to dressing up, and they have a je ne sais quoi about them, plus The city feels like a runway to me, you never know what you will see around.
Best beauty and skincare essentials for looking fresh while on the go?
Always lip balm, sunscreen, eyelash curler, mascara and concealer. When you are in a hurry, that’s the way to go.
